Junior CNC/CAM Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce 2D and 3D CAM programs with optimal tool paths adapted to various machining processes (3 axis, fiber laser, wire EDM) to achieve customer product requirements.
• Understand customers' application needs and design function intent and strategize optimal tooling/fixturing setups following industry engineering guidelines and internal defined best practices.
• Facilitate a structured environment within the manufacturing process by creating machining setup sheets and project documentation standards ensuring smooth operations.
• Take ownership of product delivery commitments by actively supervising day-to-day equipment, tooling and machine operations, and final assembly schedules through Kanban to ensure stakeholders visibility of project progress or roadblocks.
• Verify that all manufactured components conform to design specifications through in-process inspection check sheet, using calibrated tools and adhering to strict quality control best practices at each stage of product's manufacturing cycle.
