Purpose of the Position:

Calling all passionate undergrad or grad storytellers in Malaysia: Craft compelling content, explore diverse writing styles, and delve into marketing and creative strategy. From snappy headlines to engaging social media copy, bring your words to life across platforms and formats—spanning travel and tourism, hospitality, financial services, tech, health, retail, telco, and more.

We're looking for creative enthusiasts with a flair for great copywriting, an eye for impactful messaging, and the skills to translate ideas into compelling content. If you think out of the box and can transform creative concepts into captivating offline and online copy, then we're looking for you.

Based in our Malaysia office, you'll work closely with our Singapore creative team and receive direct mentorship from talented designers, strategists, and marketers across the APAC region.

The internship is a full-time programme lasting 3 to 6 months. Interested parties must commit to a minimum of 3 months.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with creative team across Malaysia and Singapore to sprinkle magic on client content marketing.
• Immerse yourself in our portfolio and target audience to craft impactful messages.
• Liaise with internal teams and translate briefs into brilliant content.
• Research, conceptualize, and develop copy for digital assets that make campaigns sparkle across social, content hubs, and creative platforms.
• Iterate and generate clear, persuasive copy across formats spanning social posts, IGS, videos, headlines, taglines and even eDMs.
• Fuel brainstorming sessions with fresh ideas, assisting in proposal writing and hunting for creative inspiration.
• Pitch ideas and weave stories for original social video content (think TikToks and reels).

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a diploma/degree in Communications, Journalism, or related fields
• A quick and eager learner with an open mindset
• Versatility – fluency in long and short-form copy, and willingness to explore diverse copy styles (bonus points if you're a ninja of nuance)
• A creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative solutions and communicate them clearly
• A team player who thrives on creative direction and collaboration
• An independent operator, meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Social media savvy, tuned into content trends and influencers across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms
• Strong English proficiency (written and verbal) – you'll be working with regional teams and clients
• Malaysian citizens or valid work authorization in Malaysia
