Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine testing in-process sampling (finished products) to ensure quality, safety, and Halal compliance.
  • Conduct routine chemical and physical tests such as moisture content, FFA levels, iodine value, peroxide value, cloud point, and color.
  • Accurately document all test results and observations in the manual logs.
  • Communicate test results, deviations, and non-conformances to the Lab Chemist for further action and resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to laboratory safety protocols, including properly handling, storing, and disposing of chemicals and samples.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lab in compliance with 5S principles and Kaizen practices.
  • Assist in method development and validation of new testing procedures to enhance laboratory capabilities.
  • Perform in any lab operations activities, assignment, project and any other task given as and when required by the management.

Requirements

  • SPM or equivalent.
  • Fresh graduate or 1-2 years of working experience in a related field.
  • Experience in Laboratory / Food Industry is an added advantage,
  • Good understanding of GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001 & Halal.
  • Able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
