About the Role

YH IT Solution Sdn Bhd is a professional IT outsourcing and solution provider based in Kajang.

We are looking for a proactive IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team to provide on-site technical support, setup, and maintenance for our clients in the Klang Valley region (and occasionally outstation).

You will handle diverse IT environments including Windows and Linux servers, network equipment, firewalls, ELV systems (IP-CCTV, Door Access, IP-PBX), and business software support.

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site IT support, system setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance for client environments.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers, desktops, and network devices.
  • Set up and support network infrastructure including routers, switches, WiFi, and firewalls.
  • Deploy and support ELV systems such as IP-CCTV, Door Access, and IP-PBX.
  • Install, configure, and provide support for business and accounting software.
  • Respond to client service requests promptly and professionally.
  • Communicate effectively with clients in English and Chinese, ensuring clear understanding of issues and solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation of system setup, configurations, and troubleshooting logs.
  • Travel across Klang Valley regularly and occasionally to outstation locations for projects or troubleshooting.
  • Work hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 6:30pm (with overtime when required for deployments).

Requirements

  • Experience in IT Support, Networking, or System Administration.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Windows OS, basic Linux OS, and network configuration.
  • Understanding of firewall setup, LAN/WAN/WiFi troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with ELV systems (CCTV, Door Access, IP-PBX) is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin) to liaise with clients.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel for on-site support.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
