Account Assistant

- Handle the full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy in financial data entry.
- Manage budget reviews related to staffing, work plans, and fee structures.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, project budgets, and forecasts for project managers and clients.
- Assist in tax filing, including Form E and Form EA.
- Experience in audit is an added advantage.
- Monitor actual costs, working capital, and prepare tax reports.
- Ensure timely invoicing, auditing, and cash flow management.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and handle financial settlements and audits.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned.
- Proven experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
- Proficiency in MYOB and ABSS accounting software.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with Malaysian tax laws and financial regulations is a plus.
