KITCHEN HELPER

Assist the pastry chef and kitchen team in daily preparation, baking, and cleaning tasks to ensure smooth operation of the pastry section at Daily Dose.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparation of pastry ingredients (e.g. weighing, mixing, cutting, arranging).
  • Support in baking, assembling, and plating of pastries and desserts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen, equipment, and utensils.
  • Ensure all ingredients and supplies are properly labeled and stored.
  • Wash and sanitize kitchen tools, trays, and baking equipment after use.
  • Follow food safety and cleanliness standards (based on HACCP or local health requirements).
  • Assist with inventory checking and stock replenishment.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by Pastry Chef or Supervisor.
COOK

Responsible for preparing and cooking menu items efficiently while maintaining taste, quality, and presentation standards at Daily Dose.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook café menu items (breakfast, lunch, and specials).
  • Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines.
  • Assist in menu development and food tasting when required.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner during service hours.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and food safety at all times.
  • Monitor stock levels and inform supervisor for ordering needs.
  • Support team in maintaining smooth kitchen operations during busy hours.
  • Assist with food prep and cleaning tasks when needed.
BARISTA

As a Barista at Daily Dose, you are the heart of the café experience — responsible for crafting high-quality coffee, maintaining excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the Daily Dose brand.


Key Responsibilities:

Coffee & Beverage Preparation

  • Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, teas, and other specialty beverages according to company standards.
  • Calibrate coffee machines, grinders, and brewing equipment daily.
  • Maintain consistency in taste, temperature, and presentation for every order.
  • Suggest seasonal or specialty drinks to customers when appropriate.

Customer Service

  • Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately.
  • Provide product knowledge and recommendations when needed.
  • Handle payments and operate the POS system.
  • Ensure a friendly, professional, and positive attitude at all times.

Cleanliness & Maintenance

  • Keep the coffee bar, seating area, and workstations clean and organized.
  • Wash and sanitize equipment, utensils, and cups regularly.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.

Stock & Inventory

  • Monitor stock levels for coffee beans, milk, and other ingredients.
  • Assist in daily inventory checks and notify the supervisor for reordering.
  • Handle storage of supplies properly to maintain freshness and quality.

Teamwork & Brand Standards

  • Work closely with kitchen and service team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support in training new team members when required.
  • Represent the Daily Dose brand with pride, enthusiasm, and consistency.
