Job Summary:

This role is responsible for providing strategic HR planning, analysis, and leadership to business units and plant leaders, particularly supporting the company's expansion efforts in Malaysia. The ideal candidate must be capable of managing multiple priorities and working effectively within a highly matrixed organizational structure.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support Plant Expansion and Transformation:

Develop and implement HR plans to support plant growth and expansion, while leading and guiding the site HR team in execution.

  • Strategic People Partnership:

Collaborate with plant leadership to drive impactful, people-focused decisions that align with business goals and organizational values.

  • Drive HR Excellence:

Partner with Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Management, and HR Services) to deliver high-quality, consistent HR support tailored to plant needs.

Work closely with corporate functions such as Compliance, Legal, Safety, and Government Affairs on employee-related matters.

  • Champion Employee Relations and Compliance:

Utilize in-depth knowledge of Malaysian labor laws to promote transparent and compliant employee relations.

Foster a positive workplace climate and act as the primary HR representative to external authorities and government agencies, ensuring full compliance with local regulations.

  • Promote Culture and Engagement:

Lead communication and engagement initiatives that inspire employees, strengthen workplace culture, and promote diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

  • Lead Change and Drive Transformation:

Implement HR programs in areas such as workforce planning, performance management, and organizational development. Act as a key driver of transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Stay Current with Trends:

Monitor market and labor trends, gather employee feedback, and adapt HR practices to align with evolving business strategies and global standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a multinational manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to challenge traditional approaches and enhance processes while maintaining compliance with corporate values, policies, and local regulations.
  • Strong capability in risk assessment and compliance management across HR functions.
  • Deep knowledge of Malaysian employment laws, regulations, and local HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with confidence in engaging senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in Chinese is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM10, RM12,000.00 per month
