technician / supervisor (electrical)

Job Description

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems across retail lots, common areas, car parks, and back-of-house facilities.
• Liaise with and provide electrical support to retail tenants during fit-outs, renovations, and for ongoing operational needs, ensuring compliance with mall standards.
• Inspect and troubleshoot critical electrical components specific to a large mall, such as main switchboards, transformers, switchgears, generator sets, UPS systems, and motors for HVAC systems.
• Execute a comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule on all electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent disruptions to mall operations.
• Attend any breakdown on electrical, aircond, plumbing, BAS & any related task that related to building service operations.

Job requirements

• A diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Fresh graduates are also encourage to apply.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, including LV and HT system.
• Experience as an electrical technician, preferably in a large commercial complex, shopping centre, or business complexes have an added advantage.
• Willingness to work on a shift basis, including weekends and public holidays, to support mall operating hours.
• Ability to respond to emergency calls outside of regular working hours.
• Ability to organize and coordinates any events and preparing schedule.
• Physically fit to carry out the job as hands-on is needed.
