About the role
As an Office Clerk at GOBAN & COMPANY Advocates & Solicitors' in Kuala Lumpur, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our busy legal practice. This full-time position is responsible for providing efficient administrative support to our legal team, helping to maintain a well-organised office environment.
What you'll be doing
- Handling a variety of administrative tasks including filing, photocopying, scanning and data entry
- Answering and directing incoming phone calls and taking messages as needed
- Greeting clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Organising and maintaining office supplies and inventory
- Assisting with the preparation of legal documents and correspondence as required
- Providing general support to the legal team as needed
What we're looking for
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with an eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in using office equipment and software such as Microsoft Office
- Previous experience as an office clerk or in an administrative support role
- A positive, proactive and customer-service oriented attitude
- A high school diploma or equivalent
