About the role

As a Draftsperson at AK Land Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of architectural plans and drawings. This full-time position is based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, and offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team shaping the built environment.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing detailed and accurate architectural drawings and plans using industry-standard software
2. Interpreting and translating design concepts into technical drawings
3. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure design specifications are met
4. Assisting in the development of 3D models and visualisations to support design presentations
5. Maintaining precise documentation and records of all design work
6. Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, building codes, and best practices

What we're looking for

1. Relevant degree or diploma in Architectural Drafting or a related field
2. Proficient in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit
3. Strong technical drawing and drafting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
4. Ability to interpret design briefs and translate them into detailed technical drawings
5. Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards
6. Good problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve design issues
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
