We are looking for a
Mid/Senior Software Quality Engineer
who is passionate about delivering high-quality software and is experienced in both automated and manual testing. In this role, you will lead the QA efforts within the development team, ensuring that software releases meet the highest standards. Your expertise with Selenium, Jenkins, and other testing frameworks will be essential in designing, developing, and maintaining our test automation infrastructure. The
working hours
of this role are in CET (
3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
Malaysia time).

Please note that we are unable to provide working permits or sponsorship for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium.
• Write down test scenarios using Microsoft Azure Testplan.
• Perform manual testing for new features, bug fixes, and regression tests when needed.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins to ensure quality builds and deployments.
• Identify, record, document, and track software bugs and issues.
• Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide input on testing strategies.
• Review and analyze test results and provide feedback to improve the overall quality of the software.
• Continuously research new testing tools and methodologies to improve test coverage and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Computer Science Degree - good to have, other degrees will also be considered.
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on both automated and manual testing.
• Expertise in Selenium WebDriver for automated testing of web applications.
• Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber or similar tools.
• Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD integration and automation.
• Experience in system, integration, service and API testing
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience with scripting languages for test automation. (Java)
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Azure Devops, Jira).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• ISTQB certification will be a plus
• Fluent in English
• Familiarity with mobile testing.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) will be a plus.
