We are seeking a Senior Engineer, Test Automation to lead our test automation initiatives and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in automation frameworks, CI/CD processes, and diverse testing methodologies. This is a key technical role that requires strategic thinking, hands-on experience, and cross-team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage a scalable test automation strategy and framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation requirements and align testing goals with overall project objectives.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or Robot Framework.
  • Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing and deployment.
  • Conduct unit, functional, and integration testing to ensure full coverage across software components.
  • Analyze and report test results, providing actionable insights to enhance product quality.
  • Maintain and improve the reliability, efficiency, and maintainability of automated tests.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation scripts, environments, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Document test plans, test cases, and results for transparency and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in test automation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in test automation.
  • Proven expertise with automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, and/or Robot Framework.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and integration tools.
  • Experience in unit, functional, and integration testing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with Ad-tech and the .NET platform.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with performance and load testing tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Working knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM7, RM12,000.00 per month
