About the Role

This role is for a Senior Automation Tester supporting BP PLC under the GF_SAM_Ops & Compliance_KL project. You will lead the shift toward a continuous, efficient, end-to-end quality engineering practice through advanced automation and testing excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the transformation of testing processes into a robust quality engineering function.
  • Drive team decisions, provide technical guidance, and mentor testers on best practices.
  • Design and implement automated testing strategies for web and API applications.
  • Analyze test results and deliver actionable insights to improve product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing objectives and ensure delivery success.
  • Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance testing efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Expert proficiency in automated testing, particularly with Playwright (P4 – Expert).
  • Hands-on experience with Web/API automation using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or equivalent tools.
  • Experience in performance testing using K6, JMeter, or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering best practices, coding standards, and test design.
  • Ability to create effective testing approaches, strategies, and detailed test scenarios.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams.
