Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cyber Security Engineer based in Kuala Lumpur. The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the organization's IT infrastructure, applications, and data. Duties include implementing and managing security measures, conducting vulnerability assessments, monitoring network and system activities, identifying potential security risks, and responding to cybersecurity incidents in real-time. The role also involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce security policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and expertise in Cybersecurity, Network Security, and Information Security
  • Experience in Application Security and performing Vulnerability Assessments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and neutralize security threats
  • Proficiency in security tools, technologies, and practices
  • Attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are an advantage
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred
