Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced **Data Analyst** with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, and have a proficiency in SQL and Power BI/Tableau, and a proven ability to design use cases and KPIs for business.

You will work closely with senior BA, and client business stakeholders to understand their needs, build insightful dashboards and reports, and clearly support and communicate the "so what?" behind some numbers through data storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support to define usable KPIs or metrics for business process
  • Support senior BA (BA team) and Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define KPIs
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, row-level security, etc.)
  • Translate business questions into clear analytical approaches and deliver actionable insights
  • Assist to present findings and dashboard walkthroughs to both technical and non-technical audiences (including senior leadership)
  • Collaborate with data engineers on data pipeline improvements when needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles
  • Advanced SQL proficiency (ability to write efficient, complex queries on large datasets)
  • Strong business acumen – ability to understand how data drives business outcomes
  • With experience presenting to stakeholders and leadership
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficient in Cantonese and English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Power BI/Tableau
  • Knowledge of Python for analytics (nice to have)
