Job Summary:

The Centre for Postgraduate Studies at Asia Metropolitan University is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lecturer to join our dynamic academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality postgraduate teaching, engaging in scholarly research, and contributing to the academic development and administration of postgraduate programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Learning:

  • Design and deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials at the postgraduate level.
  • Develop and update course materials and curricula in line with academic standards and advancements in the field.
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, exams, and other assessment methods.
  • Provide academic support and guidance to postgraduate students, including supervision of dissertations and theses.

Research and Scholarship:

  • Engage in scholarly research and contribute to the body of knowledge in the relevant field.
  • Publish research findings in reputable academic journals and present them at conferences.
  • Seek research funding and participate in collaborative research projects.
  • Stay abreast of current developments in the field and integrate them into teaching and research activities.

Academic Administration:

  • Participate in the development and administration of postgraduate programs.
  • Contribute to the quality assurance and enhancement processes within the Centre.
  • Serve on academic committees and contribute to the governance of the Centre and the wider university.

Community and Professional Engagement:

  • Foster relationships with industry, professional bodies, and other academic institutions.
  • Participate in outreach activities to promote postgraduate studies and the Centre's programs.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to maintain expertise in the field.

Qualifications:

  • A Ph.D. in relevant field preferable Management background.
  • Demonstrated experience in postgraduate teaching and supervision.
  • A strong track record of research and scholarly publications.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in curriculum development and academic program administration.
  • Proven ability to secure research funding.
  • Membership in relevant professional organizations.
