About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Lecturer in Information Technology to join our dynamic School of Computing & Artificial Intelligence. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of innovative teaching, research, and industry engagement activities within the IT discipline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Develop and review curriculum content in line with current industry trends and accreditation standards.
  • Supervise student projects, dissertations, and research activities.
  • Engage in scholarly research and publish in reputable journals.
  • Participate in academic administration, student mentoring, and departmental initiatives.
  • Collaborate with industry partners and contribute to consultancy or community projects.

Requirements

  • A PhD or Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of teaching and/or relevant industry experience.

  • Strong background in one or more of the following areas:

  • Artificial Intelligence / Data Analytics

  • Cybersecurity / Networking
  • Cloud Computing / Software Development
  • Information Systems / Database Management
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching, curriculum design, and research.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
