Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lecturer – Master in IT at The Learning Standard, located in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The Lecturer will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lectures, supervising student projects and research and preparing course materials for the Master in IT program. Additional duties include assessing student performance, contributing to curriculum development, and staying updated on industry trends to ensure high-quality education delivery.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in IT-related subjects such as Software Development, Networking, Data Science, and Cybersecurity
  • Strong teaching and curriculum development skills with the ability to create engaging and effective course materials
  • Capability to conduct research and guide postgraduate students on their academic projects
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with the latest industry trends and technologies in the IT field
  • A Doctoral degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • Experience in higher education teaching or professional education environments is highly advantageous
