Our core business encompasses engineering, construction, and related services for cleanrooms and other specialized facilities. With expertise in mechanical, electrical, and process engineering, we serve clients across the semiconductor, pharmaceutical, FMCG, and advanced manufacturing sectors.

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - Procurement & Logistics to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement and logistics functions to ensure timely, cost-effective, and efficient supply of materials, equipment, and services required for company projects. This role involves vendor management, negotiation, coordination of deliveries, and ensuring compliance with company policies and project requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Procurement Management

  • Lead and oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition review, supplier sourcing, quotation analysis, negotiation, and award of contracts.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and service standards to ensure optimal value for the organization.
  • Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships to enhance long-term collaboration, innovation, and performance.
  • Ensure all procurement activities are conducted in compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Continuously analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply risks.

Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination

  • Oversee all logistics and material handling activities, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Ensure timely delivery and distribution of materials to meet project and operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement and logistics plans with project timelines and organizational priorities.
  • Optimize logistics operations to achieve efficiency, cost control, and service excellence.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Maintain comprehensive procurement and logistics records to support transparency and audit readiness.
  • Monitor and report on key procurement performance indicators (KPIs), including cost savings, supplier delivery performance, and process efficiency.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports, analysis, and recommendations to senior management for decision-making.

Other Responsibilities

  • Support management in strategic sourcing initiatives and cost optimization projects.
  • Undertake any other duties or special assignments as directed by the Superior or Management..

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement and logistics within the construction industry or any related.
  • Good knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and supplier networks.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software (e.g., ERP system).
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
