Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Electronic and Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and production of wire harnesses and transformers used in industrial, automotive, or electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of electrical systems, insulation materials, magnetic components, and harness assembly standards.

Key Responsibilities:


• Design and develop wire harnesses and electrical transformer systems for manufacturing and integration into larger assemblies.


• Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, harness layout drawings, and transformer winding specifications.


• Select appropriate cables, connectors, insulation materials, cores, and other components based on electrical and mechanical requirements.


• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and compliance with electrical codes and customer requirements.


• Define and implement testing procedures for harnesses and transformers (e.g., continuity, insulation resistance, hipot testing, transformer efficiency testing).


• Develop BOMs (Bills of Materials), work instructions, and quality documentation.


• Support prototyping and assist in process optimization for mass production.


• Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards (e.g., IPC/WHMA-A-620, UL, IEC, IEEE).


• Perform failure analysis and root cause investigations on defective units and recommend design or process improvements.


• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and quality component sourcing.
