  • Assist the Senior Manager in providing technical and strategic support for the implementation of various company-wide business projects. This includes product and process reviews, business retention and solutioning, medical repricing project, regulatory change requirements, system upgrade initiatives, and other business initiatives.
  • Lead actuarial related projects in collaboration other departments (Operations, IT and Marketing) to ensure alignment with the company's vision and successful project execution and provide regular updates on project progression to the Senior Manager.
  • Lead comprehensive analyses of the company's claims, persistency, and expense experiences. Develop detailed management reports to facilitate a deeper understanding and support informed decision-making processes.
  • Review and analyse Prophet model office financial output. This will include all financial output where Prophet is used (Statutory Valuation, Embedded Value, New Business Profitability, Group Internal Economic Capital Assessment, IFRS17 and other financial projections to internal stakeholders, Group head office and regulators). Perform reasonableness checks and ensure accuracy.
  • Interpret and communicate financial results to the Senior Manager and other internal and external stakeholders. Ensure accurate and timely production of financial output, guided by internal governance on Prophet enhancement.
  • Assess risks inherent in the new processes, communicate implications effectively and identify mitigating solutions to manage risk.
  • Provide general actuarial advice and expertise to address policyholder, agent, and regulatory queries. Ensure the information provided is accurate, sufficiently detailed, easily understood by the intended audience, and addresses the issues at hand.
  • Manage and oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project completion. This includes setting project goals, monitoring progress, and coordinating with team members to address any issues or delays promptly.
