The Maaedicare Charitable Foundation has been dedicated to providing affordable dialysis and cardiac treatments to underprivileged Malaysians for 27 years. Established on December 28, 1994, the foundation began as a kidney charity fund initiated by MAA-Assurance Bhd and its founder, Tunku Tan Sri Abdullah ibni Almarhum Tuanku Abdul Rahman. Through its non-profit arms—Kidney Charity and Heart Charity—the foundation has significantly impacted marginalized communities. Maaedicare is committed to ensuring that essential medical treatments are accessible to those in need across Malaysia.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Finance Executive, located in WP. Kuala Lumpur (nearby Titiwangsa MRT/LRT Station). The Senior Finance Executive will manage and oversee the organization's financial operations. Responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing compliance with financial regulations such as SST, and producing accurate financial reports. The role involves contributing to budget planning, maintaining financial records, and supporting the organization's financial strategies.

Essential Functions

  1. AP, AR & GL (full-set of accounts) Oversight/Monitoring
  2. Inventories & Procurement Oversight/Monitoring
  3. PPE & ROU Maintenance
  4. Financial Reporting & Statutory Compliance
  5. Financial Control, Process Improvement & Stakeholder Management
  6. Team Support & Mentorship - Leading the team in daily finance operational matters

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in preparing and managing financial statements and financial reporting
  • Well-developed analytical skills and expertise in finance-related decision-making
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are a plus
  • MIA member are a plus
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools such as AutoCount, SQL, etc is an advantage
