About the role

NORTHEAST PRECISION SDN BHD' is seeking a motivated and skilled Technical to join our dynamic team in Bukit Minyak Penang. As a Technical, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of our precision equipment, ensuring optimal performance and productivity. What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting regular maintenance and inspections of precision equipment to identify and address potential issues
  2. Performing efficient and effective repairs to keep our CNC machinery running smoothly
  3. Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical problems, and implementing appropriate solutions
  4. Documenting all maintenance and repair activities, and providing detailed reports
  5. Collaborating with the wider team to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement
  6. Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant technical qualification or certification in a related field
  2. At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Trades & Services industry
  3. Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
  4. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to quickly identify and resolve technical issues
  5. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship
  7. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
