About the role

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Video Producer & Editor Intern to join our dynamic team at Meerkats Production PLT on a casual basis. This internship role will provide you with hands-on experience in the exciting world of video production, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to the creation of engaging and impactful content. Based in Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, this position offers flexibility and the chance to develop your skills in a collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Collaborating with the creative team to conceptualise and storyboard video projects
  2. Assisting in shooting high-quality footage using professional video equipment
  3. Editing and post-producing videos using industry-standard software
  4. Applying creative flair and technical expertise to enhance the visual and narrative quality of the videos
  5. Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards
  6. Participating in the entire video production lifecycle, from ideation to final delivery

What we're looking for

  1. Passion for video production and a keen eye for storytelling
  2. Experience with video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve
  3. Strong understanding of video production techniques, including camera operation, lighting, and audio
  4. Excellent time management and organisational skills to juggle multiple projects
  5. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take direction
  6. Familiarity with the Advertising, Arts & Media industry, particularly in the field of Editing & Publishing
