About The Role

TAHAN / PTT Outdoor is a fast-growing Malaysian outdoor brand. The Creative Strategist plans angles, hooks, and media buys – your job is to turn those ideas into high-volume, high-quality video assets using a mix of AI tools and real-world shooting. You will be the execution engine that keeps our ad testing machine fed.​

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce short-form video content (TikTok/Reels/Meta ads) based on clear briefs from the Creative Strategist – from "happy family camping together" scenes to product demos and UGC-style clips.​
  • Use AI image/video tools (e.g. Nano Banana, Kling, Veo, Seedance, etc.) plus stock and simple in-house shoots to generate the exact shots needed, fast.​
  • Plan and execute simple shoots with our products: packing, on-foot shots, tent setup, durability tests, etc.
  • Edit videos for multiple variations (hooks, intros, CTAs) so they can be tested in performance campaigns.
  • Organize and tag all footage and project files into a clear asset library aligned with hooks/angles.
  • Stay on top of trends in AI video, UGC styles, and outdoor content, and bring new ideas to the table.​

Requirements (Must-Haves)

  • 1–3 years creating and editing short-form video content for brands or clients (portfolio required).​
  • Hands-on experience with at least one video editor (Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci, etc.) and comfort learning new AI visual tools quickly.​
  • Strong eye for framing, pacing, and storytelling – you know what makes an ad hook in the first 3 seconds.
  • Able to follow a creative brief precisely, iterate quickly, and handle feedback without drama.
  • Organised with files, naming, and deadlines; comfortable working closely with a Creative Strategist and media buyer day-to-day.​

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with camping, outdoor, or lifestyle brands.
  • On-set experience: basic directing of simple shoots, working with basic lights and audio.
  • Familiarity with Meta/TikTok ad creative best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4, RM5,000.00 per month
