Job Description

The Role:

  • Bringing new software services or changing requests to life involves multiple stages—from requirements to release. Ensuring quality at each step is essential.
  • We're looking for a Quality Assurance to help maintain our high standards of reliability and performance. You'll be involved in various projects, responsible for designing and executing both manual and automated tests, identifying bugs, and ensuring fixes are properly verified.
  • This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

The Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
  • Collaborate with Developers, BAs, and PMO teams to ensure thorough test coverage and understanding of requirements.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and API testing to identify and report defects.
  • Contribute to test design, strategy discussions, and overall process improvements.
  • Document and clearly communicate test results, issues, and progress to relevant stakeholders.
  • Continuously enhance QA methodologies and stay updated with industry testing trends and tools.
  • Work closely with Developers to identify and implement.

Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent professional qualification in a relevant field of study.
  • Experienced in Jira, Bitbucket, Teams and other related management tools.
  • Experienced in Test Automation tools such as Katalon, Selenium or any other tool.
  • Experience in Database and API Testing with Postman, Swagger or any other tools.
  • Experience in developing scripts against RESTful web services.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and to meet deadlines.
  • Have a positive and enthusiastic outlook with a 'can do' attitude.

Communication:

  • To effectively communicate relevant information to superiors.
  • To deliver engaging, well-organized, and informative presentations.
  • To escalate/verify issues in a timely fashion.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Automating test cases using the Puppeteer framework or any other.
  • Automating the testing process using automation testing tools - Selenium, Katalon or any other tools.
  • Experience in Agile Methodologies and tools - JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
  • Experience with Magento applications and their automation will be an advantage.
  • To Possess a thorough understanding of our capabilities.

The Package :

  • Attractive Salary (RM5,000 – RM8,000).
