Job Summary

Responsible for Group-wide cash flow, banking operations, payment processing, treasury activities, statutory submissions, and financial reporting support. Ensures strong internal controls, accurate records, and effective coordination with auditors, bankers, and government authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Cash & Liquidity Management

  • Monitor daily bank balances and ensure sufficient liquidity.
  • Execute intercompany fund transfers and support cash flow forecasting.
  • Prepare weekly cash flow and bank position reports.

Payments & Treasury Operations

  • Manage timely payments to statutory bodies, banks, employees, and vendors.
  • Verify payment documents and uphold proper approval workflows.
  • Handle foreign currency receipts, FX conversions, and forward contracts.

Banking Administration

  • Maintain user access, roles, and approval controls on banking platforms.
  • Troubleshoot banking issues and liaise with bank relationship managers.

Finance System & Accounting Support

  • Maintain finance/accounting system configurations and data accuracy.
  • Support month-end closing through journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Statutory & Regulatory Compliance

  • Prepare and submit SST returns and maintain compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate with government authorities on statutory matters.

Billing, AR/AP & Collections

  • Issue invoices for advances and insurance payments; track outstanding balances.
  • Assist AR/AP teams with billing, receipts, payments, and escalated issues.
  • Monitor overdue accounts and conduct collection review meetings.

Stakeholder & Audit Coordination

  • Liaise with auditors during interim and year-end audits.
  • Coordinate with bankers and relevant agencies for compliance and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in cash management, treasury, and accounting roles.
  • Experience with online banking platforms and finance/accounting systems.

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of cash flow, treasury operations, and basic FX processes.
  • Knowledge of statutory payments (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF, SST, etc.).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reconciliation).
  • Familiar with month-end closing processes and general ledger entries.
