About the role

Taco Mio' is seeking a talented Barista to join our vibrant team in Damansara Selangor. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional coffee beverages and providing exceptional customer service to our loyal patrons. What you'll be doing

  • Preparing a wide range of specialty coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages, pour-overs, and other specialty coffee creations
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workspace to ensure efficient and consistent service
  • Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service, answering questions about our menu and making recommendations
  • Adhering to strict food safety and hygiene standards
  • Restocking and maintaining inventory of coffee beans, syrups, and other bar supplies
  • Assisting with other café duties as needed, such as cash handling and light food preparation

What we're looking for

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Barista or in a similar role in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and the ability to craft high-quality beverages
  • Proficient in using espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to handle the demands of a fast-paced environment
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the company
