We are one of ASEAN's leading regional banks, embarking on a multi-year digital and next-generation transformation that will redefine the future of banking across our markets. To deliver on this ambition, we are strengthening our Group Enterprise Architecture team — the strategic engine ensuring our technology landscape remains modern, compliant, resilient, and future-ready.
At Maybank, architects are not confined to creating blueprints — they are trusted advisors and strategic partners. Our architects play a pivotal role in shaping business strategy, driving regulatory alignment, and defining the digital target state architecture. This work directly influences how we deliver value to millions of customers across the region.
As part of the Group, our insurance business is represented by Etiqa, a leading regional insurer offering both Life and General Insurance solutions. Etiqa is central to our ambition to deliver financial services that are innovative, customer-centric, and seamlessly integrated across ASEAN.
Job Purpose:

With a strong focus on life insurance, general insurance, health insurance, and bancassurance distribution, the Insurance Business EA ensures that the business architecture continually adapts to regulatory change, evolving customer needs, and industry modernization trends.
As a key focus area, this role will define and steward the target state of the Bank's insurance architecture, leading modernization of policy administration systems (PAS), claims management, underwriting, distribution, and customer servicing platforms. It ensures consistency with enterprise-wide standards, regulatory obligations across ASEAN, and the Bank's strategic transformation programs. Serving as a bridge between business & technology.
