About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure for a fast-paced, global technology organization. You will be instrumental in shaping cloud-native solutions that power real-time systems and high-performance applications, working closely with architects, DevOps teams, and software engineers.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with deep AWS expertise and a passion for event-driven architectures, automation, and cloud security.

What You'll Do:

  • Cloud Infrastructure:
    Architect, deploy, and manage scalable, resilient cloud environments on AWS. Ensure high availability and performance for mission-critical applications.
  • Event-Driven Systems:
    Build and maintain event-driven pipelines and workflows using AWS services to support real-time and asynchronous processing.
  • Containers & Automation:
    Manage containerized workloads (Docker, Fargate) and implement automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments.
  • Networking & Security:
    Configure secure cloud networking, including VPCs, VPNs, and load balancers, while enforcing cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Monitoring & Optimization:
    Monitor system performance using AWS-native tools and third-party solutions. Optimize for cost, performance, and scalability.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship:
    Partner with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance to junior engineers, and contribute to architecture reviews and best practices.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience:
    5+ years in cloud infrastructure roles, with significant experience on AWS; hands-on experience with event-driven systems and distributed applications.
  • Technical Skills:
    Strong AWS knowledge (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, EventBridge), networking expertise (VPCs, ALB/NLB, BGP), containerization (Docker/Fargate), CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, X-Ray, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Programming & Frameworks:
    Experience with .NET or similar microservices-based frameworks in distributed systems.
  • Security & Compliance:
    Practical knowledge of cloud security, IAM, encryption, and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate.

Bonus Skills:

  • Real-time analytics, big data processing, or data lake experience (AWS EMR, Glue, Redshift).
  • Experience with cost optimization and cloud operational excellence.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
