Job Title: Sr. Infrastructure & Cloud Specialist

Location: QATAR

Contract: 3 Years

Overview:

Responsible for designing, architecting, and managing secure, scalable, and resilient hybrid (on-prem + cloud) infrastructures across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP. The role requires strong technical leadership, deep cloud/infrastructure expertise, and hands-on experience with automation, governance, and modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy cloud and on-prem infrastructure solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Manage hybrid connectivity: VPN, ExpressRoute, VNet Peering, Private Endpoints.
  • Implement governance frameworks, Azure Policy, RBAC, and security standards.
  • Lead modernization, migration, automation, and cost-optimization initiatives.
  • Oversee Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, SCCM, M365 hybrid & identity sync.
  • Manage virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and backup/DR solutions.
  • Build and maintain IaC using Terraform, Bicep, ARM & integrate with CI/CD.
  • Enhance monitoring and observability (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Zabbix, etc.).
  • Automate provisioning using PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with architecture, security & app teams.
  • Maintain technical documentation, topology diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Support BCP, high availability, DR planning, testing, and post-incident analysis.

Skills & Experience:

  • 10–12 years
    progressive IT experience, including
    5+ years
    in cloud/infrastructure architecture.
  • Strong expertise in Azure/AWS/GCP, networking, security, identity, and governance.
  • Hands-on experience with IaC, automation, CI/CD, monitoring, and hybrid environments.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and documentation skills.

Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT or related field.
  • At least one advanced certification:
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • AWS Solutions Architect (Professional/Associate)
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
  • VMware VCP-DCV / Cisco CCNP / CompTIA Cloud+
  • ITIL v4 Foundation or higher.
  • Proven track record in hybrid environments, modernization, migrations, and automation.
