We are seeking a J
unior Corporate / Commercial Lawyer
to join our client's legal team on a
contract basis
. This is a great opportunity to work with a fast-growing e-commerce logistics company and gain exposure to diverse legal and commercial matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including commercial agreements, supplier contracts, partnership agreements, and other legal documents
  • Provide general employment advice regarding employment law, employee relations, and policies
  • Manage legal administrative tasks such as maintaining legal records, preparing legal reports, and supporting compliance activities
  • Advise on corporate matters, including governance, compliance, and regulatory obligations
  • Offer commercial legal guidance to support business operations
  • Keep abreast of relevant laws and regulations to ensure the company remains compliant.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external legal counsel as needed

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) from a reputable law firm or in-house legal team
  • Qualified in Malaysia
  • Strong experience in drafting and reviewing a range of corporate and commercial agreements with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills, confidence, and the ability to liaise effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Immediate availability or short notice period preferred
