Civil Site Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Check all construction drawings, identify and highlight discrepancies, if any, and take the appropriate timely follow-up actions.
  • Arrange, coordinate and monitor the work of the casual workers, to ensure optimum utilization of site labour and quality of work carried out.
  • Schedule, coordinate and monitor utilization of site machineries to ensure optimum usage.
  • Controlling and managing site materials, which includes ordering materials
  • Ensure project meets the stipulated quality requirements by closely monitoring and supervising the work and to take the appropriate actions timely to remedy any shortcoming.
  • Execute work assigned according to schedule through proper planning.
  • Running the site from setup to completion, controlling all aspects of site operations
  • Co-ordinate progress meetings and liaise with clients, contractors and other professionals associated with the project, often producing daily/weekly reports.
  • Responsible for weekly site meeting to discuss progress on site and conducting site inspections
  • Co-ordinate with site team to ensure problems are resolved quickly.
  • Responsible for overseeing the workforce, site welfare and health and safety.
  • Responsible for project progress reports and feedback.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of field experience
  • Good Self-motivated, leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must willing to work outstation across Peninsular Malaysia

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM5,500.00 per month
