We're Hiring: Architectural Draftsperson/ Assistant Architects (2 Positions Available)

Are you passionate about architecture and sustainability? We're looking for two (2) enthusiastic and dedicated Candidates to join our team

In this role, you'll support our architects in design, drafting and documentation, while also gaining hands-on experience in green building certifications. You'll contribute to meaningful, sustainable projects and collaborate closely with a team that values creativity, innovation, and continuous learning.

What You'll Do:

Position No.1: Building Drafting:

  • Assist in the preparation of 3DModelling, 2D design drawings, schedules, and documentation for conceptual design and design developments.
  • Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on sketches, specifications, and other provided information.
  • Use CAD software to produce drawings that incorporate precise measurements, calculations, building codes, and other construction details.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively within the team to ensure project goals are met efficiently and effectively.

Position No.2: Green Building Rating (GBI & GreenRE & CASBEE):

  • Provide green advisory services across all phases, from pre-construction to detailed design and construction until successful project handover.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve green building certifications such as GBI, GreenRE, CASBEE and other relevant certification bodies.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate sustainable design principles into building projects.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure that sustainability objectives are met within budget and schedule.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in sustainable design and construction.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Professional Certificate, Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
  • Two (1-2) years of working experience in architectural works is preferred, but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in CAD drafting software, BIM software, SketchUp, Revit, and/or other design tools.
  • Solid understanding of building by-laws, planning requirements, and building codes.
  • Strong command of both English and Malay, both written and spoken.
  • Capable of working under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for sustainability and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Skills & Software Proficiency:

  • CAD Software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • SketchUp
  • Energy modeling software (advantageous)
