We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our Finance team. This internship offers practical exposure to accounting operations, financial reporting, and administrative support in a professional working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily accounting operations and data entry
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and official receipts
  • Organize and maintain proper filing of accounting documents
  • Assist with bank reconciliation and monthly closing activities
  • Verify invoices, claims, and supporting documents for accuracy
  • Support preparation of basic financial reports and schedules
  • Assist during audit and compliance-related activities
  • Perform other ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Able to work independently and in a team
  • Responsible, willing to learn, and positive working attitude

Preferred Skills (Advantage)

  • Familiar with basic accounting software (e.g. AutoCount, SQL, UBS, or similar)
  • Knowledge of SST and basic taxation will be an added advantage
