INTERNSHIP: ACCOUNTS & FINANCE DEPARTMENT

Position Title: Accounts & Finance Internship

Location: Twin Galaxy, Johor Bahru

Working Days / Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Reporting To: Account Manager

Duration: 3 – 6 months (depending on academic requirement or company availability)


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in daily accounting and finance operations, including data entry, invoice processing, and documentation.
  • Support accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions — verifying supplier invoices, preparing payment vouchers, and updating ledgers.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, and assist with month-end closing tasks.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and analysis under the supervision of the Account Manager.
  • Maintain accurate filing and documentation for accounting records.
  • Participate in ad-hoc finance and administrative projects assigned by management.

Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eager to learn and able to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
