1. Patient/Client Support (Under Supervision)

  • Assist senior nurses with patient preparation before consultation or treatment.
  • Help guide patients to waiting areas, treatment rooms, or facilities.
  • Support in collecting basic information such as:
  • personal details
  • lifestyle habits
  • general wellness needs
  • (No clinical diagnosis or treatment unless allowed by supervisor & regulation.)

2. Observation & Learning

  • Observe nursing procedures performed by registered nurses.
  • Learn about patient care standards, infection control, and proper handling of equipment.
  • Gain exposure to daily clinic or wellness centre operations.

3. Vital Signs & Basic Assessments (If allowed by centre policy)

Under supervision only:

  • Assist in checking basic vital signs such as temperature, pulse, or blood pressure.
  • Record readings into the system/logbook.
  • Report abnormal readings immediately to a senior nurse.

4. Documentation & Administrative Support

  • Assist in updating patient files, records, and treatment notes.
  • Help arrange appointments, follow-ups, and reminders.
  • Support the preparation of consent forms, checklists, and patient education materials.

5. Customer Service & Care Coordination

  • Attend to patient inquiries at the front desk or treatment area.
  • Provide guidance on wellness programs, treatment flow, and safety procedures.
  • Ensure patients feel comfortable and informed during their visit.

6. Inventory & Stock Management

  • Assist in tracking medical consumables (gloves, dressings, sanitizers, etc.).
  • Help prepare stock lists and report low inventory.
  • Support in organizing treatment rooms and supply cabinets.

7. Hygiene, Safety & Facility Preparation

  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness of treatment rooms and equipment.
  • Support nurses in preparing beds, tools, and materials before sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control practices.

8. Health Education & Wellness Support

  • Assist in delivering simple wellness education (hydration, hygiene, lifestyle tips).
  • Help prepare posters, brochures, or presentation materials for wellness campaigns.
  • Support nurse-led workshops or health screening events.

9. Event & Program Assistance

  • Support health campaigns, awareness days, or staff wellness activities.
  • Help with documentation, registration, and customer coordination.

10. Ad-hoc Duties

  • Perform tasks assigned by Registered Nurses, Doctors, or Supervisors.
  • Support daily operations to ensure smooth and safe workflow.

11. Performance-Based Employment Opportunity

  • Interns who demonstrate strong performance, discipline, and commitment during their internship may be offered a direct permanent position.
  • This offer will allow the intern to skip the probation period and be immediately confirmed as a full-time staff.
