Job Summary:

The Food & Beverage Intern will assist in the daily operations of the restaurant, café, and banquet service. The intern will gain hands-on experience in customer service, order taking, food serving, and maintaining the overall guest dining experience according to hotel standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in setting up and clearing restaurant tables, buffets, and function rooms.
  • Welcome and seat guests professionally and courteously.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them promptly.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area at all times.
  • Refill water, beverages, and condiments as needed.
  • Support team members during peak service hours.
  • Comply with hotel hygiene and safety policies (HACCP standards).
  • Learn and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for service.
  • Assist in preparation and service of special events or banquets.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.

  • Learn teamwork and time management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understand hotel F&B service standards and quality control.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Pleasant personality with a passion for service.
  • Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Job Type: Internship

Contract length: 5 months

Pay: RM1, RM2,000.00 per month
