About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Service Desk Analyst professional to join our client's team at Tentacle Tech in Bayan Lepas, Penang. This is a yearly renewable contract position, offering the opportunity to provide critical IT support and troubleshoot Outlook and Active Directory issues for our clients.

What you'll be doing

  1. Provide first-line IT support and resolve Outlook, email, and Active Directory-related issues for our clients
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware problems in a timely and efficient manner
  3. Assist with the installation and configuration of new software and hardware
  4. Maintain accurate records of all support requests and resolutions
  5. Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement process improvements
  6. Provide training and guidance to end-users on the effective use of IT systems and applications

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience in a IT Support or Helpdesk role, preferably within the IT&C industry
  2. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of Outlook, Active Directory, and Windows operating systems
  3. Well Conversed in English
  4. Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  5. Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work well under pressure
