About the role
Treetops Montessori Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a talented and passionate Chinese/English/Senior Teacher to join our dynamic early childhood education team in Johor. As a full-time teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality Montessori-inspired learning experiences for our young students.
What you'll be doing
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in Chinese and English to children aged 2-6 years old
- Implement the Montessori curriculum and methodology to foster children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Observe and assess children's progress, and provide individualised support to meet their unique learning needs
- Collaborate with parents and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and nurturing learning environment
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our programmes and teaching practices
- Participate in staff training, professional development, and team-building activities
What we're looking for
- A recognised teaching qualification, such as a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Fluency in both Chinese and English, with the ability to effectively communicate with children and parents
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in an early childhood setting.
- Strong understanding of child development, learning theories, and best practices in early childhood education
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Creativity, patience, and a genuine passion for working with young children
