Production Line Leader

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks only after being properly trained (OJT) and certified for the process.
  • Follow production work instructions and related production documentation.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices (5S) at the production line at all times.
  • Respect and follow all instructions given by superiors at all times.
  • Ensure daily production output and reject yield targets are achieved as instructed by the superior.
  • Ensure 100% product quality is met before shipping to the customer.
  • Regularly update and check production records, including line clearance, housekeeping records, environmental records, green tags, run cards, bin labels, logbooks, and scrap forms.
  • Ensure new employees are properly trained using the MPI (Manufacturing Process Instruction) before starting work on the production line, and ensure all operators follow the MPI strictly.
  • Take disciplinary action for employees who fail to follow instructions or violate company rules, including issuing verbal warnings, explanation forms, and escalating to supervisors for formal warning letters if necessary.
  • Show initiative in learning new skills and continuously improving leadership capabilities.
  • Carry out any other tasks assigned by the superior from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum SPM or equivalent. A certificate or diploma in a related field is an advantage.
  • At least 2–3 years of working experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Prior experience in a team leader or line leader role is preferred.
  • Familiar with 5S, line clearance procedures, and basic quality control practices.
  • Responsible, disciplined, and proactive.
  • Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Willing to learn and grow in a leadership role.
  • Able to work shifts or overtime as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1, RM2,400.00 per month
