General Manager (Freight Forwarding & Logistics)

Work Location: Eko Galleria, Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru, Malaysia

Head Office: Singapore

Salary Range: RM11,000 – RM12,000


Job Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage daily freight forwarding operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective workflows.
  2. Report operational performance, challenges, and strategic plans to the Singapore Head Office.
  3. Ensure full compliance with Malaysian customs, trade, and transportation regulations.
  4. Lead, mentor, and develop the Malaysian operations team to achieve business targets and maintain service excellence.
  5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support the company's growth strategy in the Malaysian market.

Job Requirements:

  1. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  2. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  3. In-depth knowledge of Malaysian logistics regulations, customs procedures, and cross-border operations.
  4. Excellent coordination abilities with both internal teams and external partners.
  5. Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday — 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
