Job scope:

This role is responsible in assisting the East Malaysia Warehouse Head of Unit for overseeing inventory management, order fulfillment, staff supervision, and ensuring the efficient receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods including the safety and security of the warehouse and its contents in the state.

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor shipping, receiving, and supply distribution, ensuring inventory and stock records meet franchisor standards.
  • Ensure all services are processed through the company's in-house system using PR and PO.
  • Manage team members' leave applications.
  • Verify petty cash vouchers, stock count discrepancies, return advice, and other official documents as required by the company.
  • Maintain inventory with minimal variance and ensure consistent supply.
  • Implement proper stock rotation to prevent write-offs.
  • Ensure stock integrity and maintain a safe facility with effective security measures.
  • Oversee accurate and timely order fulfillment, including picking, packing, and shipping goods from the Central Warehouse to the Sabah Warehouse.
  • Inspect incoming materials, reconcile with purchase orders, and manage related documentation, including tracking damages or discrepancies.
  • Monitor product deliveries, ensuring integrity and food safety for restaurant supplies.
  • Oversee regular fleet maintenance to prevent delivery disruptions.
  • Organize and delegate tasks, ensuring employees understand their responsibilities.
  • Train and coach new employees.
  • Adhere to franchisor requirements and local regulations (e.g., Halal, DOSH, DOE, Local Council).

Requirements:

  • Minimum qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in warehousing or logistics in a similar role.
  • Able to communicate effectively in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, both spoken and written.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel etc.).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Willing to work long hours, including during peak seasons, in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines.
  • Successful candidate will be based at KKIP Warehouse.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM4,000.00 per month
