Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for processing from PR (Purchase Requisition) to PO (Purchase Order); sourcing, bid compilation and recommendation, issuing of PO, monitor and expedite delivery & handling day to day activities.
  2. Sources (inclusive of international source) for reliable Vendor & maintain relationships to obtain the best price, timely supplies & prompt service.
  3. Conducting bid evaluation and recommendation to superior for approval.
  4. Organize meeting with vendor for technical and commercial clarification together with internal technical personnel.
  5. Responsible for managing supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness.
  6. To organize survey at Vendor's plant to determine their ability to meet company quality requirement together with QC an Engineering Personnel. Perform Vendor selection.
  7. Perform regular performance review with suppliers to drive continuous improvements.
  8. Develop purchasing or sourcing strategies based on portfolio analyses and supplier referencing study.
  9. Review and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy.
  10. Implement and perform ISO standard documentation as per Purchasing Procedure.
  11. Ensuring Vendor compliance to the project requirement such as Mat'l Mill cert,MSDS, Rohs COC, QC report, FA report and etc.
  12. Ensure commercial, legal and contractual compliances in all the procurement transactions.
  13. Adopt appropriate supplier management methodologies and procurement strategies in purchasing to secure better prices.
  14. Ensuring supplier understood company rules & regulations.
  15. Liaise with external party related to quality and environmental requirements.
  16. Understood of company policy, department objectives, rules and regulation.
  17. Promoting environmental friendly culture through prevention of pollution, protection of natural resources with applicable environmental legislation and regulations.

Skill & Experience Requirement

  1. Not less than 3 years experience in related field.
  2. Knowledge of computer will be essential.
  3. Good English speaking & written.
  4. Knowledge of production planning will be essential.

Academic Requirement

Diploma or above in related field.
