QA/QC Inspector

  • Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on raw materials, semi-finished, and finished components from stamping and molding processes.
  • Use measuring instruments and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, profile projectors, and CMM (if applicable).
  • Perform first article inspection (FAI), in-process inspection (IPI), and final inspection (FI) based on control plans and work instructions.
  • Verify conformance to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, customer-specific requirements).
  • Complete and maintain accurate inspection reports, checklists, and quality records.
  • Document and report non-conformity (NCR) and support the investigation of root causes.
  • Assist in preparing quality reports for internal review and customer submissions (e.g., QC reports, PPAP documents).
  • Support internal and external audits (ISO, customer, regulatory) by providing required quality records and evidence.
  • Ensure quality inspection procedures are followed and kept up to date.
  • Follow company quality and safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Provide feedback to production on quality issues and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Monitor production processes for adherence to quality standards.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Provide suggestions to improve inspection methods, reduce rework, and enhance product quality.

Requirements

  • SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in QA/QC, preferably in metal stamping or molding manufacturing.
  • Fresh graduates with technical knowledge may be considered.
  • Familiar with quality inspection tools and techniques.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Basic understanding of ISO 9001:2015 or IATF preferred).
  • Good documentation and reporting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1, RM2,200.00 per month
