Job Summary

Engenious Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly skilled BIM Coordinator (Electrical) to lead BIM coordination efforts across multiple complex projects. In this role, you will be responsible for managing project-wide BIM workflows, ensuring multidisciplinary coordination, and maintaining compliance with BIM standards. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, consultants, and contractors to drive model integration, resolve clashes, and facilitate effective project delivery. This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving ability, and extensive experience in electrical systems within BIM environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate BIM processes and workflows across multiple disciplines, with a focus on electrical systems.
  • Oversee the integration of architectural, structural, and MEP models to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Conduct clash detection, analyze coordination issues, and facilitate resolution with relevant teams.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce BIM execution plans, standards, and best practices.
  • Lead BIM coordination meetings and provide technical guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with project managers, consultants, and contractors to align BIM deliverables with design intent and project goals.
  • Review and validate BIM models for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Support project documentation, schedules, and reporting to ensure timely milestone achievement.
  • Mentor and support BIM modelers to strengthen team capability.
  • Provide onsite BIM coordination support when required, particularly for Data Centre projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5+ years of BIM experience, with at least 1 years in a coordination or lead role.
  • Proficient in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks; experience with BIM 360, Dynamo, or similar platforms is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and multidisciplinary integration processes.
  • Proven ability to manage BIM coordination across large-scale projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Experience in Data Centre projects is highly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel and provide onsite coordination support when needed.
