Project Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. To assist the Project Manager to plan, monitor and control daily work at the project sites.

  2. To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the quality management system.

  3. To meet client and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

  4. To implement plan actions from risks and opportunities assessment.

  5. To ensure that project operations and document control procedures are adhered to.

  6. To plan, coordinate and monitor subcontractor's activities at project sites.

  7. To maintain good housekeeping and implement safety practices.

  8. To ensure that all works carried out are in accordance with the drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, work instructions, etc.

  9. To ensure that inspection and tests are carried out as per Inspection and Test Plans and that all quality control mechanisms are being used. Results of such to conform to specifications.

  10. To submit sample materials and calibration certificates to relevant consultants for approval.

  11. To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Building or Civil Engineering.

  2. Minimum 1 year of working experience in a similar capacity.

  3. Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  4. Self-motivated person and able to work independently.

  5. Knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements.

  6. Able to liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities.

  7. Computer literate.

Site Supervisor

  2. To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the quality management system.

  3. To meet client and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

  4. To implement plan actions from risks and opportunities assessment.

  5. To supervise, monitor and control daily work at the project site and adhere to document control procedure.

  6. To coordinate and monitor subcontractor's activities at project site.

  7. To maintain good housekeeping and implement safety practices.

  8. To ensure that all works carried out are in accordance with the drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, work instructions, etc.

  9. To carry out inspections and tests as per Inspection and Test Plans and use all quality control mechanisms in the quality management system. Results of such to conform to specifications.

  10. To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum Diploma in Building or Civil Engineering or equivalent.

  2. Minimum 1 year of working experience in a similar capacity.

  3. Good communication skills.

  4. Knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements.

  5. Self-motivated person and able to work independently.

  6. Computer literate.
