Job Description:
  • Working in caster/furnace section will be received Heat Allowance.
  • Experience on casting line (handling molten metal) preferred.
  • Operate machines safely, meet quality standards, optimize recovery, and achieve production targets.
  • Responsible for caster and helper in furnace operations.
  • Release metal from HF for CC start-up & ingot making; transfer metal from MF to HF if needed.
  • Maintain casting parameters and quality as per supervisor instructions.
  • Monitor casting process (parameters, metal level, temperature).
  • Handle production coils and ingots using overhead cranes; arrange mould preparations and stopping.
  • Inspect thickness, width, coil build-up, and surface quality.
  • Monitor tube filters, spraying system, and feeding tank levels.
  • Handle metal scrap drainage and ingot movement to loading bay.
  • Maintain 5S, general housekeeping, and machine cleaning.
  • Coordinate with furnace operators and supervisors; issue work orders and permits.
  • Maintain production and quality records (coil, ingot, observation records).
  • Start-up CC and ingot preparation, pass line and roll gap setting, tip setting, and preheating.
  • Prepare tools, foundry materials, and carry out fabrication/repairs of foundry equipment.
Requirement:
  • Education/Qualification: Minimum Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or above.
  • Age: 25 – 35 years old (heavy manufacturing work environment).
  • Experience on casting line (handling molten metal) is preferable.
  • Able to communicate effectively, work in a team, and follow safety procedures, physically fit.
