Junior Finance Reporting Analyst

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform month-end closing activities, including recording journal entries, to meet business timelines and requirements.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure all bank transactions are posted promptly.
  • Prepare reconciliations for cash and bank-related accounts.
  • Assist with the CFIN-to-HFM tie-out activities.
  • Prepare, post, and generate reports required for month-end processes and deadlines.
  • Identify and resolve backlog issues to ensure daily tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly financial data and insights for internal finance teams.
  • Maintain and update process documentation.
  • Work closely with both internal and external auditors to support audit completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to offer guidance and support for financial operations.
  • Review and approve journal entries within ERP systems.
  • Offer support and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Support Blackline reassignment activities.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and perform additional duties as required.

Essential Requirements (Experience / Skills / Competencies):

  • Years of Experience: 1–3 years
  • Field: Finance / Accounting
  • Technical Skills: Financial analysis and reporting; knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS / GAAP)
  • Soft Skills: Critical thinking, problem-solving, adaptability
  • Tools / Software: SAP or Oracle, Excel, HFM
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
  • Industry Experience: Finance, Shared Services

Additional Details:

  • Salary Range: Up to RM4,000
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Location: Kuala Lumpur
  • Contract Duration: 6 months
