Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, supervise, and guide security technicians in installation, maintenance, and operational tasks.
  • Assign daily jobs, monitor progress, and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and according to standards.
  • Train and mentor team members on equipment handling, troubleshooting, and safety practices.
  • Provide feedback to the Security & Enforcement Manager on team performance, issues, or improvements.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations during installations, inspections, or security activities.
  • Install and configure electrical wiring for security equipment, including CCTV, GPS, Starlink, and communication systems.
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure all equipment functions correctly.
  • Maintain and upgrade electrical and surveillance systems as needed.
  • Ensure all installations comply with safety, regulatory, and internal standards.
  • Provide on-site technical support and attend to urgent repairs when required.
  • Work closely with security and IT teams to optimize system performance and integration.
  • Execute additional tasks assigned by the Security Manager.
  • Assist the Security & Enforcement Manager in daily security operations, enforcement activities, and follow-up tasks.
  • Participate in investigations, including gathering evidence, reviewing CCTV footage, interviewing involved parties, and preparing reports.
  • Monitor and maintain security systems such as CCTV, access control, GPS tracking, and surveillance platforms.
  • Conduct routine security inspections and ensure compliance with safety and security policies.
  • Prepare documentation, reports, and follow-up actions as instructed by the Security Manager.
  • Support the Security Manager in emergency response, incident handling, and coordination with authorities when required.
Requirements
  • Minimum STPM, SKM Level 4, or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent.
  • 2–3 years experience in security operations, wiring, installation, or technical maintenance (executive or supervisory experience preferred).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, assign tasks, and monitor a team.
  • Good understanding of security operations, CCTV monitoring, incident handling, and reporting.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities for electrical and technical systems.
  • Able to interpret wiring diagrams, manuals, and schematics accurately.
  • Familiarity with CCTV, GPS, Starlink, access control, and communication systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Able to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and adapt to changing situations.
  • Willing to travel and work outstation when required.
  • Physically fit for technical and field work.
